Chimney Inspection
Level 1, 2, and 3 inspections to catch cracks, liner damage, and structural issues before they become expensive repairs.

A chimney inspection is different from a sweep — it's a diagnostic check of the whole system: the flue liner, the masonry, the flashing where the chimney meets the roof, and the damper. Most problems that turn into major repairs start small and are only visible on inspection.
We follow the standard three-level system: a Level 1 visual inspection for chimneys in regular use with no known issues, a Level 2 inspection (including a video scan) for real estate transactions or after any change to the system, and a Level 3 inspection when hidden damage is suspected and access panels need to be opened.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Level 1 and Level 2?
Level 1 is a basic visual check for a chimney with a known service history. Level 2 adds a video scan of the flue and is required for real estate sales, after an appliance change, or after any event that could have damaged the system.
Can I get an inspection without a sweep?
Yes — inspection and sweeping are billed and scheduled separately, though we'll flag it if your flue needs a sweep to properly complete the inspection.
